Mercedes Benz unveiled its all-new E-Class Sedan at last week’s Detroit Auto Show.




Mercedes Benz releases new images of the sevlte saloon.The AMG sports package gives the new E-Class a similar look to the 525hp E63 due later in the year.
The new sedan will come with wide range both petrol and diesel engines with improved fuel economy.
The new styling AMG sports package consist of large cooling intakes with AMG front apron, coustom rear bumpers and new side skirts. It has unique exhaust tailpipe. It has 18in AMG light alloy wheel painted with sterling silver with a high-sheen finish and are shod with 245mm tires.
Three new 4-cylinder diesel engines, the 200, 220 and 250 CDI, come with an average mileage of only 5.3 liters per 100 km and all are EU5 compliant. The new E 350 BlueTEC, a six-cylinder diesel engine set to make it into the E-Class this fall, already meets EU6 emissions standards that are to come into effect in 2014.
Inside, the AMG package includes new sport bucket seats finished in a special microfiber man-made leather. This same material is used for the door armrests and part of the center console. Other features include AMG floor mats, a pedal cluster in brushed stainless steel with rubber studs, black roof lining and Nappa trim for the gear-shifter. The AMG sports package also includes a manual "M" transmission mode designed for the automatic gear box.
The actual AMG model, bearing the potent ‘E63’ badge, is due to be released later in the year. This car will feature a 525hp version of the hand-built 6.2L AMG V8 engine
